Domain Citations Report

The Domain Citations Report addresses a straightforward question: Which websites and URLs are frequently cited by ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, and other AI search engines?

This report helps us analyze the sources ChatGPT uses to generate its responses. It sheds light on why certain brands are recommended while others are not, as this is influenced by the websites cited during its processing.

OLD DOMAIN CITATIONS REPORT

Let me emphasize this: the Domain Citations Report (as shown in the screenshot below) is one of the most frequently used tools by our customers. It provides valuable insights into the most cited domains and any other domain of interest. With its flexible filtering options, you can explore any domain to see how often it has been cited, which AI search engines referenced it, and the prompts that led to those citations.

PREVIOUS URL CITATIONS REPORT

The previous Citations Report was an excellent tool, displaying the most cited URLs alongside the corresponding prompts that triggered each URL citation. With multiple filtering options, it allowed in-depth analysis of any specific website across supported AI Search Engines.

NEW URL CITATIONS REPORT

Our updated Website Citation Report now provides quicker insights, improved filtering options, and an on-page brand analysis.

On-Page Brand Analysis

In the new Citations Report, you’ll find all URLs cited by ChatGPT. Even more exciting, you’ll instantly see whether your brand is mentioned on those specific URLs. That’s right – we analyze all cited URLs and their content to answer a critical question: Is your brand featured in those blog posts, landing pages, or media articles, or are your competitors taking the spotlight?

This means we don’t just tell you whether your brand was mentioned in ChatGPT’s AI-generated response. We also identify if your brand is referenced in Reddit threads, blog posts, media articles, and more.

Why Does This Matter?

With this update, you can now conduct a straightforward gap analysis answering questions and tasks such as:
